Neeraj Chopra, India’s star javelin thrower, has made history by crossing the 90-meter mark for the first time in his career. Competing at the 2025 Doha Diamond League, he delivered a remarkable throw of 90.23 meters, setting a new national record.
With this, Neeraj became the first Indian to ever throw beyond 90 meters in javelin. However, despite his incredible achievement, he finished second in the event, as Germany’s Julian Weber secured the top spot with a throw of 91.06 meters.
